He was married to Marjorie Constance Bovey on 14 Jun 1930 in St Saviour's church, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex.⁽¹³⁾ Marjorie Constance Bovey was born in 1896. ⁽⁶⁾ She died in 1983.⁽⁶⁾
