Uriah BRODRIBB was born about 1725 in Clutton, Somerset, England.⁴ He died on 14 May 1788.⁴ He was buried in 1788 in Clutton, Somerset, England.² He signed a will about 1788 in Clutton, Somerset, England.² Will proved at Wells by sons Thos and Uriah Shown in Brodribbs of Somerset booklet as Uriah Brodribb, of Clutton, yeoman, fifth son of John Brodribb.

Uriah BRODRIBB and Elizabeth BOWER were married. Elizabeth BOWER (daughter of Francis BOWER) was born in 1741.⁵ She died about 20 Oct 1815.⁴ last digit unclear in date of death Brodribbs of Somerset booklet says "daughter of Francis Bower, stocking manufacturer, of Publow, Somerset; niece and legatee of Catherine Brodribb nee Cave (who is on p6 of booklet) Uriah BRODRIBB and Elizabeth BOWER had the following children:
