This page describes maps of Kent designed for use by people with vision deficiencies, or by anyone wanting a clear outline map. They are all based on a 1946 Ordnance Survey map, and have National Grid squares marked.. I am using Kent as an example in developing techniques and obtaining comments, so there are a variety of different designs. Some of the maps have spoken output of names. Most maps use Adobe Acrobat, some with bookmarks to highlight a place or jump to its position on the map. There are also some using HTML image maps.
