Tactile maps of the United Kingdom

I am developing tactile maps with braille labels, for the use of blind people. In each case the map itself is on a web page in pdf format, with the braille font embedded. It can be printed from the web page, then turned into a tactile map using swell paper. There are also web pages which explain the maps and list the abbreviations. Initial maps are for:

• Wiltshire - to help blind users of GENUKI, genealogy information
• Kent - developed at request of staff at Royal London Society for the Blind, who have helped in testing and improving the Wiltshire map

My first trial of development of tactile maps is described in an article, but I have made some changes since then. I will amend the article.
